A great meeting today to welcome in the month of April. Sending along a hello to our snowbirds, you haven’t missed the arrival of warm weather. Still pretty cold here.
Elia and Vivian led us in song; we had some fun requests today. Pres. Bob led us in a moment of silence for our honorary member, Micheline Auger, who passed away this week. Thank you for keeping the family & many friends of Micheline in your thoughts and prayers. She was an inspiration to us as a club, to our community, and she will be deeply missed.
Many thanks to our Music Festival Committee chair Bill G. and housing committee! Great job to all who helped out this year to make this 75th year a great success! The talent of students is always fantastic to see. Our very own Vivian was featured in the program this year; many thanks to Vivian! Thanks also to Tarin at M/Press for a great job on the program, as well as to Don for the great write up in the paper.
Nice to have Casey back with us, as well as Sherri back from sunny Mexico. Robin was our mystery greeter today. Congratulations to Janet, Bill Graham, and Tom Bailey on their Rotary anniversaries. We also sang a very Happy Birthday to Kelly today.
